01The House

One house, five arms.

CVYSM is one arm of a house that also sets a standard, makes the clothing, and gives the money somewhere to go. This page is what each arm is for — and what each one proves.

The arms

  • CVY

    The house. The man.

The name is his, character out, man still standing.

  • CRKSOLY.

The standard, not a product line

    Greatness is character before talent

Nobody measured him by anything but the scoreline

  • CVYLA

    The apparel arm

The standard can be worn, and lasts

Trained in gear that wasn't good enough to be proud of

  • CVYSM

    The management arm

The standard can be represented without being sold out

Watched talent get taken, or never get signed at all

  • Project Rooted

    The giving arm

    The money has a destination

Had to leave home to find what he needed

The apparel arm

CVYLA.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2020, in a year when nobody could train together.

CVYLA — CVY Los Angeles — is the luxury performance wear house. It was founded by Alfredo Sanchez in 2020, the year of isolation and uncertainty, after a season in which the athletes he trained kept working anyway, in whatever space they could find. The brand was built around what that looked like.

The clothing is made for athletes on the pitch and off it. It is the visible arm, and the one most people meet first.

The standard

CRKSOLY.

Cracks only. Not a product line — the idea the rest of the house is built on.

The house has one word for the athlete it exists for. A crack affects a game in ways other players cannot. A crack trains through discomfort without resentment. A crack carries the same energy on the pitch and off it.

CRKSOLY. — cracks only — states that as a standard rather than a range to buy into. It is the test everything else in the house is held against: greatness is character before talent.

It is also the test this firm applies to a roster. The question is not whether an athlete is good. It is whether they carry themselves like that when nobody is watching.

The management arm

CVYSM.

The standard can be represented without being sold out.

Most agencies begin with a stable and work out what the athletes have in common afterwards. This one began with a standard and looks for athletes who already meet it.

That is the whole reason for the roster size. Representation that carries a house's name is a different undertaking from representation that carries a logo: the athlete is not inventory, and the point is not to sign as many as the phone allows.

The giving arm

Project Rooted.

The money has a destination.

Roberto Castellanos is a professional footballer and a CVYSM client. He founded Project Rooted to shape the next generation of soccer talent in the Antelope Valley through elite athletic mentorship — the thing he had to find for himself, and had to leave home to find.

That is why every page on this site carries “Powered by Project Rooted®”. It is not an endorsement or a slogan. It is the house paying for what it says it believes: representation is how the work gets funded, and Rooted is where it goes.

The goal is a high-performance facility for young athletes in the Antelope Valley. It is not built and not running yet — it is being funded a step at a time, in the open, which is the honest way to describe a thing that is still being worked toward.

The voice

Voice of the players.

Most agencies speak for athletes. This one is built so the athletes have somewhere to speak from.

A roster this small is not a limitation, it is the mechanism. Everyone on it is known to everyone else on it — which is what lets a house like this answer a question that has nothing to do with a contract.

So the house keeps a council drawn from the people who built it: three different backgrounds, three different kinds of expertise, and any athlete on the roster can put a question to any of them. Not a hotline — a group who have each already been where the player is standing.

Alfredo “Chuvy” Sanchez

Founder, CVY / CVYSM

Built a house out of a culture rather than a market, and has trained and mentored athletes at every level. Set the standard the rest of this site is written against.

Pedro Zamora

Agent · Founder, other ventures

FIFA licensed football agent, and the only known DACA recipient to hold a license. Financial strategy and professional sport, under one roof. The person at the table when it matters.

Roberto Castellanos

Footballer · Founder, Project Rooted

Knows the playing side from inside it, and what it takes to build something that outlasts a career. Founded Project Rooted to give the Antelope Valley what he had to leave home to find.

Different backgrounds, one standard. It is the reason an athlete here can ask about a contract, a move, a brand — or the thing after the game — and get an answer from somebody who has already done it.

Work with the house.

If you are weighing representation, the standards matter more than the letterhead.
